Texas Holdem Strategy - Texas Holdem Strategies

The following are important Texas Holdem Strategies:

A. Table Selection.
The most important skill when playing Texas Holdem is table selection. Most of your winnings will come from a very bad player so make sure to keep your eyes peeled.

B. Hand selection
Patience is a virtue. Ever heard of that saying? The most important hands come when holding Ace/Ace or King/King so be patient and wait out for these hands. The object of the game is not to lose too much while waiting for these hands.

C. Opponent assessment
Keep your eye on what a player raises on, folds on, his reactions to certain cards being layed down. Always keep mental notes of what your opponents are doing.

D. Do Not Continue…
A general Texas Holdem Poker strategy is not to continue beyond the flop without diverse possibilities. Make sure to be holding at least a Jack, Queen, King, Ace or a Pair.

E. Calling it Quits
Call it quits when necessary. If you haven’t a good hand then just fold and start over the next time with money still in your pockets. Like Strategy B says…Patience is a virtue.

Make sure to use each Texas Holdem Strategy carefully so that you increase your chances of winning greatly.
